A major fundraising event is being launched by the property industry to raise funds for worthy causes including The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, Jude Miley Trust and the National Maternity Hospital Foundation. The event, which will be held in
Leopardstown Pavilion on Thursday June 12th 2014, aims to raise approximately EURO 100,000 for these worthwhile causes. It is affiliated with the Property Race Day in the UK, which has quickly established itself as a key date in the property calendar, hosting over 800
individuals from the property and property financing industries. Now in its seventh year, the event has raised over £1 million for a number of UK children’s charities since inception. A senior committee of individuals from the property industry have been put together to
ensure that the optimum amount of funds are raised. Commenting on the launch, President of Property Race Day Ireland Mark FitzGerald said, “I am delighted to be involved in the inaugural Property Race Day Event in Ireland. We plan to build on the success of our colleagues in the UK who have raised over £1 million for worthy causes focussing on children’s charities. I have no doubt it will be a huge success, and the charities will benefit greatly’.Overseeing proceedings will be the well-known broadcaster, Kathryn Thomas, who no doubt will inject some ‘joie de vivre’ into the proceedings.
I bet ten quid both ways on Celtic Tiger Redux, with an accumulator on the Irish obsession with land bringing us further ruination ASAP.
